CAMPING
Our final Everybody Camp Now on March 25th and 26th we’re camping for one night at a secluded group site at Palmetto State Park, an hour Southeast of Austin between the towns of Luling and Gonzales, Texas. Our campsite overlooks the San Marcos river from all sides and offers plenty of space for campers to spread out, pitch a tent, and enjoy a dip in the river or just staring out onto it and reflecting if you need!
Enjoy all the amenities of State Park camping (water, flushing toilets, showers, ice and souvenirs at the gift shop), while group camping with likeminded friends- new and old!
One of our goals at ECN is to help folks get comfortable with camping in welcoming, fun, and supportive environments. Book a spot and you’ll come camping with friends of all different camping abilities- first-timers and those well seasoned too. No prior knowledge about camping is needed or required- we’re not that kind of place!
Campers will need to bring their own tents and equipment from our suggested list, but if you don’t have what you need you can always borrow or swap from other ECN campers using our Sheet of Needs.
Our group site at Palmetto is up a private road outside of the general public camp area. While the group site has enough space for 40 campers, our attendance will be capped between 15 and 18- ensuring there’s plenty of space for you and your car in our private parking spot.
Our Palmetto Site comes with:
Two fire rings and a really cool stone fireplace
Outdoor grills
Many picnic tables
Running water
Everybody Camp Now will also provide:
Set of solar string lights
A trash can
Access to electric (up to 550 watts)
Restrooms and Showers are short walks away from our group site in the other campsite areas.
Everybody Camp Now HQ will also have a Camp Kitchen setup, as well as access to first aid and an all-genders cassette toilet.
Dinner on the 25th and Breakfast on the 26th is provided along with water, coffee, and tea. Campers are encouraged to bring their own snacks and beverages.

THINGS WE’LL DO
Spring 2022 might be a shorter camp experience, but we promise it’ll be one to remember!
Fun and Games
When we arrive at camp on Friday, there’ll be plenty of time to get your own site set up before dinner and camp activities. As part of our first night, we’ll get to know one another by making dinner together as a group and a DIY art activity that can be done on your own or amongst friends.
Hike+Soak Saturday
On the Saturday of camp, we’ll start off with a hot group breakfast, leaving some space to pack up our campsites before heading down to the pavilion for a 3 mile hike along the Ottine swamp, some beautiful tropical vegetation, and plenty of cardinals and songbirds.
After our hike, campers will be treated to a private soak in a mineral hot spring just up the road from our campsite at the Ottine Mineral Springs. Enjoy 3.5 hrs all to ourselves in a modern hot spring before heading back to Austin- relaxed and ready for whatever camping adventure you might have next!
BOOK YOUR SPOT
Everybody Camp Now takes a sliding scale approach that prioritizes affordability and community accountability. For our final camp we’ll be taking more of a team building, collaborative approach to camping so we can keep our costs lower while also learning alongside each other about helpful camp tips!
Visit our Booking Page for more info on how to reserve your spot.
